Uptown Sedona

At the north end of Sedona just before State Route 89A begins to meander up Oak Creek Canyon, you’ll find Uptown Sedona, our own “Main Street”, located in zip code: 86351 – same as West Sedona. Jam-packed with shops, galleries, restaurants, and sightseeing tour companies, you could spend an entire day strolling down the spacious sidewalks of Uptown Sedona discovering modern, contemporary and southwestern fine art, restaurants, and shops. Sidewalk cafes pair stellar views and scrumptious aromas of fresh-baked waffle cones, Sedona hot fudge, and southwestern fare tantalize your taste buds everywhere you go. You will literally shop until you drop in Uptown. With so many choices, you could spend an entire day here picking out fun things to take home with you. At the end of Uptown Sedona, you’ll see the Sedona Arts Center on the right. The Sedona Arts Center is a historical landmark in Sedona. In 1958 Nassan Gobran and a group of local visionaries originally purchased the old Jordan Apple and Peach Packing barn and turned it into the Art Barn, a local place for artists to congregate and share their artistic dreams. The old barn still stands here today and has since continued to be a community-centered school and gallery where artists can learn from each other and exhibit their works for all to enjoy in the Members Art Gallery.

One of the most luxurious and upscale communities in Uptown is Jordan Park area. Amazing red rock views, and located near one of the most beautiful hiking trail systems in Sedona. Many think of Uptown Sedona as consisting of Tourist Information Centers and boutique shopping, but Uptown is home to many Sedona residents.
